Supporting Hawaiian Youth and Culture

The Na Pe'a program is a collaboration between the Nakoa Foundation and the National Park Service's Ala Kahakai National Historic Trial.  It is  designed to teach youth the fundamentals of sound Leadership and effective stewardship of  Land and Marine resources through the use of traditional Hawaiian sailing canoes.  It is also designed to perpetuate traditions and practices of Native Hawaiians  that are associated with the Hawaiian Canoe.
